Ahh, sweet Camden (and big brother Jameson) are such dolls! Hanging out with Sarah + family is like being with long-time friends. I love getting to capture the milestones in their lives! (See Sarah’s recent maternity shoot here.)

January has definitely been the month of newborns in Charlotte, NC and I absolutely love photographing them! Miss Caroline was a bit anxious to make her appearance and surprised her mommy and daddy a few weeks early. Love it! 
Lauren and Chip are totally smitten with their little girl. Who can blame them? She is a dollbaby!

The biggest compliment I can receive as a photographer (next to a referral, of course!) is a return client. When someone loves their images so much they are willing (and eager!) to use me again, it is just confirmation for me that I’m doing what God made me to do! Capturing tiny moments in people’s lives that they will always want to remember!
This was my third session with this sweet family and I was so excited to welcome baby Eric to the world! Isn’t he a cutie??

You have seen this next family on my site several times. I believe Sarah is my biggest cheerleader (next to my momma, of course!). I have loved capturing her family and am so excited to watch it grow! We were dealing with some super cold weather, so we chose to do her maternity shoot in their home. I loved it. Totally relaxed. Natural. And real life. You don’t get more real life than adding a toddler to the mix!

It is no secret that I adore lifestyle newborn photography. The sweet babies, in their element, with their momma and daddy close by to snuggle on them. This is their new life and I love to capture them in it. Sweet Parker was no exception. I loved going to his home in Fort Mill to photograph him and his family.

So, I had this idea last year but it never came to fruition. Ran out of time. Stayed too busy. You know the drill! This year, I was determined to make it happen and am so glad I did!! Nothing fits with this time of year like Christmas trees!! I managed to get 3 minisessions in and am planning 3 more next weekend!

I love Freedom Park in Charlotte. It really is beautiful! I was excited to shoot there again for this sweet girl’s very 1st birthday! Miss Ella is a dollbaby and I loved getting to work with her again!
