If you have known me long at all, you know of my love affair with Sweet Art Cakes. Although I do not get to Rock Hill nearly as often as I would like, I can still taste her amazing peanut butter frosting on top of the delicious chocolate cupcake. It was because of these delicious cupcakes that I was introduced to Tina, mother of my newest senior, Margaret! Margaret is a senior at Northwestern High School and was SO much fun to photograph! We decided to venture around Uptown Charlotte and it made for a very interesting evening!! 🙂

I had such a great time at this session! Danny is a senior at Cuthbertson High school and was fabulous to photograph! Most guys tend to be a bit shy in front of the camera, aren’t sure what to do, how to pose or whether or not they should have an opinion. Danny (and his sweet momma!) were amazing. They had ideas and together, the 3 of us pulled off a fab session tonight!

With less than a month left ’til school starts, Madison is kicking off our Class of 2013 sessions! She is a rising senior at Cuthbertson High School in Waxhaw. We decided to use the precious downtown area as well as her school! Jody with Fuzion Hair Design provided hairstyling, and Samantha with TrueBeauty by Samantha helped us with make-up!

I love when my clients are willing to think outside the box, explore with me, roam around a location, and snap when it’s time! I had so much fun with Reagan doing her senior portraits. She made it very easy on the photographer and has the ‘model’ look down!

We took full advantage of all Fort Mill has to offer for Casie’s Senior session! We started out in downtown and then worked our way over to the greenway. We walked and explored (something I LOVE to do when shooting) – ended up in a spot I’d never been!

I have had the privilege of doing several senior shoots now. However, Blake was my first guy! Definitely different from posing girls, but his family was so sweet the whole time – I loved it! Blake is a cross-country runner, so we wanted to be sure to show off some of the medals he had won, as well as his Runner of the Year award!

I always say it’s so much fun to shoot friends and family. These three dolls just happen to be my nieces, and they all love the camera! I loved having the ocean as my backdrop. Could definitely do that full-time and not complain a bit!
