There is nothing I love more than the excitement surrounding a new baby. The anticipation, the waiting, the tiny clothes and shoes. I was super excited to get to be a tiny part of Rich and Stephanie’s pregnancy! {Just a sidenote. Sweet Stephanie is 36 weeks, 1 day. Does she not look amazing??}

Oh, friends. Cue the baby fever! This little doll baby completely won me over today! I was so excited to get to try out some new props I had acquired and Miss Olivia was a rockstar! Thank you so, so much Mandy! I hope you enjoy your preview!!
I was so fortunate to get to capture Cole’s 1 year session this time last year. Now, he is waiting on his baby brother! He has such a beautiful momma and she is absolutely GLOWING!! Did I mention she is due, like, any day?
I have never felt so guilty at a session as I did this one. Poor Beau had to suffer through a nasty batch of mosquitoes with me! Evidently, we are too sweet to be outside. Ha! He was a complete trooper and I adored the outcome of his session!
Pardon the interruption in blogging. Had to take a time-out to celebrate my sweet boy’s 7th birthday. WOW does time fly!! Seems like just yesterday I was in this sweet client’s shoes… waiting on my first child! I loved getting to meet Lejla and wonder around Freedom Park in Charlotte for her maternity session. Can’t wait to photograph their precious baby girl in a few short weeks!!
When Sarah contacted me about doing this session for her, I got so excited! It was a whole new level of creativity that I couldn’t wait to unleash. On a typical wedding day, bridal portraits are done, and we’re scared to get the dress dirty. For Sarah, we didn’t want to completely trash the dress, but did want to get some artsy, fun shots of her before it is cleaned and packed away.

With less than a month left ’til school starts, Madison is kicking off our Class of 2013 sessions! She is a rising senior at Cuthbertson High School in Waxhaw. We decided to use the precious downtown area as well as her school! Jody with Fuzion Hair Design provided hairstyling, and Samantha with TrueBeauty by Samantha helped us with make-up!

I have fallen in love with Waxhaw, NC. When looking for a place to photograph Cullen for his 2nd birthday, I knew it would be perfect! He was a classic 2 year old, making me work for his sweet smiles, but those dimples are worth it!
