I probably say this about every wedding, but Billy and Jessica’s wedding was so. much. fun. Morning Glory Farm in Monroe, NC does a fabulous job making sure every detail is taken care of. Billy and Jessica were both so relaxed, it made for a very enjoyable day. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into their day!
Get ready for photo overload! I loved every minute of this wedding and reception. Jen & Shawn were so very relaxed and it made the whole day flow seamlessly. Their love for each other is evident every time they look at each other. So, forgive the length of this post. This was as much as I could narrow it down!!
Shawn & Jen, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your day. I hope you enjoy this small sneak of the photos I captured. I wish you a long, happy, healthy life together!
When Sarah contacted me about doing this session for her, I got so excited! It was a whole new level of creativity that I couldn’t wait to unleash. On a typical wedding day, bridal portraits are done, and we’re scared to get the dress dirty. For Sarah, we didn’t want to completely trash the dress, but did want to get some artsy, fun shots of her before it is cleaned and packed away.
Sarah, thank you so much for letting me get out and “play” with these images! I hope you love!

If you say the word “Charleston”, I’m there. Could not have been more excited to head south for David and Kaeley’s big day! Just talking to Kaeley on the phone, I knew it would be a sweet time of celebration! They were married at the Church of Our Savior – John’s Island. The reception followed at James Island County Park. We were a bit worried about the weather, but thankfully, everything turned out beautifully!
Thank you, David and Kaeley, for inviting me to be a part of your day. I hope you enjoy!!
You may remember Daniel and Cheryl’s engagement shoot in Uptown Charlotte. I loved getting to hang out with them in preparation for their big day! I was so fortunate to be able to travel to Asheville, NC to shoot their wedding. Their ceremony took place at St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church and the reception was nearby at High Vista Country Club. Gorgeous couple, gorgeous backdrop, gorgeous weather, gorgeous day! Thank you so much, Daniel and Cheryl, for letting me be a part of your day. I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
I have been so excited to post about this wedding since I first went through the images for the sneak peek. When I first received the e-mail from Karen asking me to be their wedding photographer, I couldn’t wait to travel to Summerville to the Woodlands Inn. Stephen and Karen were a photographer’s DREAM! Their wedding was perfectly intimate, fun (as you will see from the reception photos!) and warm. Everyone in both their families was amazing and they couldn’t have been more gracious!
I was excited to get there early for some getting ready shots!
When Karen told me they wanted to see each other before the wedding, I was so excited to get to capture that moment! It was such an amazing time. I know they will cherish those first few minutes together.
After the ceremony, Stephen, Karen and I walked around the grounds of the fabulous Woodlands Inn for some photos of the two of them together.
And then we were off to the reception. Friends, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved this reception. Not because it was over the top. Not because of the gorgeous flowers or delicious cake. But because every single face I saw when I looked around the room was having FUN. I can only image this reception completely met or far exceeded the bride and groom’s expectations! I’m only going to post a few from the reception because I want Stephen and Karen to relive those memories as they look at the images together. But this says it all:
Stephen and Karen, I thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your day. I hope you will cherish your photographs for many, many years to come. I wish you health and happiness in your new adventures together!
If you are planning a wedding in the Charlotte area and haven’t checked out The Palmer Building, you are missing out! I was asked to photograph the details of a wedding reception for Tiffany with Just Pretty Parties yesterday. Not only did their team do an amazing job, but the backdrop was just gorgeous! Check out the pictures to see for yourself!

When Melissa first contacted me about doing their wedding, I could not have been more excited. Or nervous. 😉 Melissa was such an easy-going bride, she truly made my first wedding a dream! This family was amazing, and welcomed me from the moment I first rang their doorbell. I could not possibly show you enough pictures to convey the amazing personality of these guys!!
We started with some getting ready details.
The thing I loved most about this wedding was the personality that went into every detail. Like the bride and groom dancing up the aisle!
The first time they spotted each other was absolutely beautiful.
They could not have chosen a more beautiful location!
Some of the many detail shots.
Just a few photos of the reception! I don’t think I saw anyone without a smile on their face!
Just a few of the happy couple…
Chris and Melissa, I could not have had more fun photographing your wedding. You guys are absolutely wonderful. I wish you a lifetime of health and happiness!
